Depends what metro area, and whether it’s in a city or not.
Here in Denver a 2-bedroom apartment goes for around $ 800.

It depends on where it is. That’s low rent in NYC or San Francisco, high rent in Boise Idaho.

Well since I don’t know how many bedrooms, baths, or the location. I can’t tell you if that is an unfair price.

Not at all. It really depends how big the apartment is.

Ask rental in nearby locality.

In L.A. probably not, although ive never been there so couldnt tell you. I know here in Tulsa, Oklahoma that is VERY steep, since the average 1 bedroom here runs about $ 500

Even that depends —
Is it in Lakewood or near the grove?
Does it come with anything — onsite or in unit laundry, pool, gym, etc?
Look at other rentals nearby — it if seems costly for where it is and doesn’t come wiht extras, it probably is costly. If it is too cheaper for where it is, try to figure out why.
In my neighborhood, that would be about right for a nice well taken care of place.

you better be making $ 4200+ a month to be able to afford that – that’s more than my mortgage pmt in Penna
