Last week while laying awake in my upper level apartment
I heard something that shocked me. It was late at night
about 1am and the night air was
broken by the sound of a woman saying, “hey, hey, hey”.
There was an intense scuffle that accompanied this
sound. The whole espisode lasted only two or three seconds
and then it was quiet again. Behind my apartment complex is
a residential area (houses). I am positive something happened to this woman. (I live in Boise, ID). I called
the police to report this but they said without more information
there was nothing they could do. I have walked the residential
street in front of the houses a few times since but
nothing looks out of the ordinary. What would you suggest I do at this poitn?
Ever think that a fat, or drunk person was stumbling and falling and the female was that person or was trying to help that person out?
Thats the first thing I though of.
There are near infinite number of things that can reproduce that scenario, including murder.
You did what you could. Now, just wait to see if anyone comes up missing. Don’t lose any sleep over it.
If any females go missing in the Boise area anytime soon, you must go forward with this right away. Tell what happened, just as you’ve told us, and tell what time it was when you heard all this. If there are no reports of missing people, I’d say just let it go.
You called the police and that is all you can do for the woman. You must be on guard at all times when you are walking or alone in that area. Thank you for being the kind of citizen that would help another!
I think youve done the best you can by phoning the police when you did. Id say just keep a listen for anything else going on or check the local papers. If nothing else comes of it theres not much more you can do really.
