I am ready to go to school I have three children a kindergartner and twins that are 16 months I am 24.. I want to be a nurse but than I also would like to be a PN. Thing is I hear it is really hard to get into the nursing school in Boise, so I am thinking of when I get that far trying to get in in Montana where my family lives, rent a home there.. Anyways How much do nurses and Pn’s make? Benefits I want to work with babies ( all my children were NICU babies) How do I find a contract for a hospital to help pay for my schooling or grants anything? And really how hard is this? What was your hardest class..? can I go interview a nurse somewhere? Thanks so much One more thing can I work in two different states once I get my degree?
hi, sounds like you have a lot in your mind.
One thing I know is that RN pays are about 5 dollars higher than what PN can make. I am not sure about the nurse’s wages around your area so you should ask the program counsellors about future plans. They should know everything. And RN is more at a big hospital where PN works more at an acute care settings. I also know that you can take PN and work for couple years and take RN for a year or two, so i suggest you this way if you don’t like studying or don’t have enough money.
hope this helped a bit.
good luck!
